I have a felony record i am thinking about two careers becoming a vet tech or a barber?

I contact my state board and they said as long as its non drug related which it is not i could become a vet tech my question would i be able to get hired as a vet tech and what about becoming a barber

There are so many vet tech schools out there. You would have to contact each individual employer to answer your other questions though. I have attached a link to where you can read all about vet tech schools and Barbering schools. You can see how much each career makes in a year and what the job description is. If you are interested you can apply for a certain school that is close to you and looks good. I hope this helps you in your search. Sarah

I can't see why you'd have a problem being hired as either.

A lot will depend on what the flonies were. A barber might be required to handle money and a criminal record makes that a problem. A vet tech might have access to drugs and thats also a problem. It may come down to convincing them that you are worth the risk. Good luck .
