A National Account Manager is someone who is responsible for the company's national accounts, which tend to be bigger companies - so, for example, companies like Tesco, Boots, Asda, etc would be considered National Accounts as they have one contact point at their head office for their entire 'national' network. National account managers would normally need to have relevant experience as you'll find that the national accounts are probably the ones that buy the most of a company's product.
