military,firefighting, and law enforcement jobs is washington state?

my wife is in the NAVY and i am looking for a job. i have been to fleet and family SUPPORT no help there. I am almost finished with my degree in fire science and criminal justice i have 9 years of firefighting and 2 years of law enforcement but they say i am not qualified need help.

Is it because of your age i know many places have age limits to hire for those positions. Smaller markets have lower qualifications. I would check some of the smaller towns and townships. Also if your wife is in the NAVY why not become a firefighter or law enforcement officer for them. With a degree you could even go in as an officer with better pay and benifits.
