What is the salary for UPS or FedEx drivers?
Asked by TreasureCoast2
I was just curious as to what the salary is for a driver for FedEx or UPS? Does anyone out there work for them or know anyone who does who could provide some more information? Thanks a lot

I'm unsure about FedEx, but for UPS it varies depending on the union and the current contract in which the driver begins under. For the first year a driver might make 15-18 dollars an hour and move up to their max- out pay rate which could be near 30 dollars an hour over 2-5 years. The benefits are good, with dental, vision, and health included, but again, this can vary according to the union in which a driver belongs. Also, take into account that drivers with the least seniority may experience times of not having work due to low volume. Overtime is what really makes a nice yearly salary for UPS drivers.
Husband has been UPS driver for almost five years.
