Is it possible to be an industrial engineer with an expertise in the environment.?

What Im basically trying to ask is is it possible to merge the professions of environmental engineering as well asIndustriall engineering. Also if you are an Industrial engineer could you please tell me wether you enjoy your job and some of the benefits of being an IE.

It is possible to combine the two interests, but you might need to take an extra class or three to get the qualifications. It also depends on the employer and goals of employment. You need to talk with your college counselor about your interest and what classes you have taken and will need to take to get to your goal. Look at potential employers and see what skills might be needed to qualify you to be hired. The more you specialize in your education, the more focused your job search will need to be. Government jobs would be most likely to hire someone trained in industrial and environmental engineering. Good luck
