What is the job where you travel to hotels to survey or maintain quality?
Asked by Allison
I work for a small boutique hotel and because we are not a chain, I am not quite familiar with the term, but I am wanting to research the position in which you would work for a large chain hotel and travel to all the different locations throughout the world and survey/maintain the quality, branding, etc.
This person usually helps implement procedures directly from "corporate" and/or cleans up the management in terms of allocation of responsibilities and necessity of each employee.
Reports back and helps to monitor the quality of each locale.
Any help would be welcome. After researching the different hotel programs and positions I have not successful pinpointing the title.
Thanks

I thought a General Manager would be the person who would travel and oversee other properties to include cleaning up the management and inspecting the quality.
A Hospitality Services Manager would be over events and large groups so that is probably not it.
