What are some vital things I need to know for the LPN program?

i have over a year to wait to actually begin the LPN program (january 2011).
in the meantime, i'm aware that i must take my required prerequisites. but that will only take a small fraction of the time that i have to wait.
i want to be on top of things when i begin the program. what are some things i should be memorizing or getting familiar with in the meantime?

Get yourself a NCLEX-PN study guide and start reading through it. This will help you understand what your licensure exam will be like and guide your studying.
