Should I put this in the resume?

My friend needs help with his resume and I am going to help him,but I'm undecided on something to put in it. He wants a resume for production/general labor and hasn't had many jobs but wants to make his resume look "full". My question is that he was a inventory control specialist for a department store and I was wondering if I should put that in because it some of the job duties do qualify under production/general labor but yet it the actual job doesn't really doesn't fit under the criteria of production/general labor. Thanks!

you can, but remember, having 'more' isnt always better. resumes are looked at on average for 10 seconds each by the HR department.

don't lie in those things. it does not turn out well
