What should I major in at college if I want to become a Casting Director?

I am going to college next year so I am starting to look at colleges now. I know that I want to be a casting director and I was wondering what I should be focusing on, and majoring in, at college.

I'm making no more than an educated guess, but a major in business and a minor in drama might serve you well. One thing you will need to teach yourself is the ability to distinguish an adequate performance from a good one, and a good one from a great one. You may find that's easier if you've been forced to attempt performance yourself.
