Thinking about becoming a electrician or plumber.Which is a better career choice?
Asked by jmurr82
Which makes more money? Which has more job security and potential side work? Which is least effected by the poor economy?

Best Answer:
I would say electrician. Most DIY'ers will most likely attempt to take on plumbing work before they will try to electrocute themselves. I would also say that pretty much everyone has plumbing and electrical so job security is pretty good for both professions. The key is to provide exceptional service and outstanding results for the least amount of money. Your customers will be your biggest avenue for advertisement. So, if you please them they will tell all their friends and you will make more cash. Whatever you decide, make sure you're personable, professional, and have an outstanding work ethic and you will be successful. Best wishes!
