Does anybody know how much a Phlebotomist will make working in a Blood Bank?

I am currently attending a Tech school for Medical Assistant and I am really interested in working with blood. I know if I were to get 80 sticks that I can be certified as a Phlebotomist. Also what else would I have to do if i wanted to get into lab work. Also i live in Southern Texas if that helps...
