Would they drug test me at a school if i wanted to work for the kid care program?

The lady working there knows me from when i was a kid, and really wants me to work there. I really need the job, but if it drug tests then i need to also know what kind of drug test it would normally be.

Probably yes. And not only a drug test, but a CORI and background check as well. The drug screen is going to test for any controlled substance that is legally tested in the state you work in. If you are taking prescriptions and/or over the counter medications, you will have the chance to disclose them at the test site.

1. Most likely, yes, there will be a drug test. 2. Usually a pee test. Pee in a cup at a testing facility, they test for a spectrum of drugs.

More than likely yes they will drug test you. They have really started cracking down on drug tests and background checks, especially when someone is going to be working with children. It could be one of two different types of drug tests. The first is the pee in a cup test which is pretty common. The second could be the hair test where they with cut some of your hair and test it because it is a more thorough drug test. Hope this helps!

i've worked for day cares and they didn't. if they do they usually warn you somewhere during the Application process.
