Help with childcare provider profile?
Asked by Star
I am thinking of watching children again in my home. I want to watch up to 3 at a time. I'm in the process of filling out some child care provider profiles to help get me in touch with parents. However, I only want to watch babies and toddlers. The reason is because to me, they are easier. I have a harder time entertaining older kids because they want to do more, and backtalk more, and since I have a small apartment, there is not a lot of room for them to play...their toys are bigger too. So, how do I word this in a profile to not make it seem like I hate older kids, and to let them know that I prefer babies and toddlers only?

After doing as Sassy25 has said then word it as you only have room for no more than three younger children. State it is because of lack of space that older children need to play in that you are not able to accommodate them with.

First of all you should read your lease and ensure this does not violate it. Then you need to register as a DayCare Provider. Otherwise payments to you are not tax deductible. Liability Insurance, Board of Health Inspection.
