I am currently unemployed and I am considering going back to school either as a CNA or Medical Receptionist.?
Asked by BikingAlongtheRiverFanIam
I have a degree in Psychology and have worked as an Admin Assistant and Receptionist. I do not want to get my Masters in Counseling. Just want to get someback on what would be the best choice: CNA or Medical Receptionist? I just want a job that can make me money regularly and is in demand so I can find a job easily.

I am also unemployed at this time and was also preparing to go to school to become a CNA. CNA would be your best choice because CNA's are more in demand than Medical Receptionist. I have spoken with several schools who have told me that CNA is their most popular programs. I have an aunt who is a CNA also. Most people come out of school and find employment as a CNA with no problem. Then if you find that you like being a CNA you can then return back to school to become a Registered Nurse which is something i also plan on doing. I hope you know that CNA's have to wipe butts, clean up vomit, and do other unpleasant things. Good luck to you in whatever you decide to do.
