I got laid-off of my job as a shipping/receiving supervisor after 15 yrs.?

Does anybody know of a company around the Phoenix, AZ. that needs a working shipping/receiving supervisor with 15 yrs experience in a distribution/warehouse environment. I have been looking for 4 months with no results. I would really appreciate any help. Thank You

i don't have any leads, but i really feel for you. i'm so sorry that happened. after 15 years! that must be hard to make sense of. hang in there. with that kind of experience i'm sure somebody would love to have you.

I worked in the Casino Industry and was a manager for several years. I worked about 15 years in that industry and was laid off. I sent out 150 resumes and went to every Business in the area. I used up most of my unemployment and finally received a call from the biggest retailer in the country. Because of my management experience, I was hired to work in a claims position and then after 3 months they put me in an Inventory Control position. The pay is not very good. Extremely hard work. The hours are 4 to 1 am . Those are the negatives. The positives are that I have insurance again. I have a job with money coming in every 2 weeks. I can also get promoted very quickly based on my performance. I have lost 40 pounds in the last six months. Its a tough market still and many people are looking for work. Don't overlook jobs by your home that may not pay much. Find a part time job to go with it. Keep your head high and good things will happen for you.
