How do I become a professional chef like those on TopChef?

I have tried researching cooking schools but the information is vague. What is the best cooking school to go to? And how exactly do you learn everything that a chef knows?

Go to a fine cooking school in your area or one that you want to go to. If you fine one you thinks sound look it up on the internet. Most fine cooking schools have a website. That is really the only way to learn to be a professional chef.

It is called Culinary Arts. Go to college and major in that field if that is what you want to do. Ask college advisors for more information about a certain school, or just call. If you're willing to learn and work hard, I'm sure you will learn everything that you will need to know to become a great chef. You can also watch cook shows in your spare time and talk to chefs when you see them in a restaurant. Read books too.

First of all:how old are you?
Just because if you're older than 18 then you are too old.There are some star chefs who started around 20 but they are genius.I know a guy who went to France to lyon school of culinary.Try out France.That's the best place to learn this if you have nuff money.
