Contact your local college of further education and ask them for advice, dont spend a fortune on courses.

I'm a Swedish Trained Massage Therapist, who gravitates toward the energy modalities like "Thai Massage" or "Shiatsu". I enjoy learning the different modalities and love having the understanding of them and the ability to utilize & combine them as needed in the development of my clients. The mentality of a Massage Therapist must be one in which you are selfish in the fact that you do the work 'Soul-ly' for your own love of it, but also not selfish, in that you also hold a great love in sharing the work that you do. Go out & get some massages from therapist of different modalities, and/or just ask them lots of questions about how they feel toward their chosen modality and settle on one that suits your personality & mind set because to have any longevity as a Massage Therapist(a.k.a Body Worker) there needs to be a very special connect between you and your chosen modality, which you'll be looking to share with each and every client.
