How long after college will it take me to get a job as a market research analyst?

I am getting a degree for sociology. How long do you think it will take it for me to get a job as a market research analyst? Direct question to ramander. Since you have been a help so far. I was wondering if you could tell me how to go about looking for such jobs, were I should start or intern with. And also any helpful information you know about the job. Thanks so much!

Wow first three "answers" were crap. Fortunately, there are also jobs as junior analysts that ofen hire those right out of college. Be sure to stick with quantitative aspects of sociology--experimental designs, stats, economics, etc
