What do you think you'd have to wear for the job - wear a smart version of that. No point in wearing a black suit to the interview if you're going to be wearing jeans to work. I would suggest a smart/casual skirt/trousers & top with casual jacket or cardigan. Wear what you will feel comfortable in. Also it's important to have fresh breath, clean hair/clothes/shoes, be on time, and a big smile! Good luck!

Job applications are usually gruelling - how should you complete them? Should you chase them up when there is no response? I suppose there's no definitive answer but the resource in the box below has some really awesome tips about this. It certainly helped me when I was composing job applications recently, additionally they have extra advice on job searching.

You should always wear a suit to an interview / job application fair unless specifically told to dress down. However never anything less than business casual (pressed dockers, pressed shirt). For this type of job, if you are female, a suit with pants rather than a skirt probably makes sense. If you do not own a suit, then dress in your best slacks and tidy shirt. Make sure your shoes are shined (no sneakers).

NO JEANS< no sneakers, no heavy make up/earrings. Business professional- black pants, blouse/nice top, low heels or dressy flats.
