How do you get in to a career in Crime Scene photography?
Asked by lคยгєภ ♥'s тнє яєν
I am very interested in photography and emergency services so i am beginning to believe that crime scene photography would be a wise choice for me. I go to a technical high school which offers both photography courses and emergency service (police, firefighters, ambulance technicians, detectives.) courses, unfortunately i can only choose one course to study for my sophomore-senior year, so i was wondering which one i would be better off taking. and after high school what would i do.

Most CSI photography jobs now require a master's degree in criminal justice, so for a career in this, it's may be better to get an educational background in emergency service. Photography is also something easier to learn out of school at workshops and using books. However, if you've never used a camera you'll probably need at least one class to teach you the basics. Also, you're still young enough where you might change your mind about this career later, so maybe what you should think about is what interests you more--crime scenes or photography itself--and base your decision on that.

I think you can determine which one is the best for you, in my opinion, more interesting if you become a photography. But the choice is yours as well, so choose wisely, because it determines Your future step.
