Job interview; I have an interview for a catering company as a delivery driver/porter?
Asked by Pedro B
Should i put on a suit and tie for the interview. Or something less formal. As the most part of the job will be driving. I will put a suit on, But do you think that is unnecessary as the roll will be an informal one.

If you're smart and presentable, you'll make a much better first impression on them, and so a much better impression on their customers. You would be representing the company to the customers, so they want you to be able to project the right image. If you think wearing a suit makes you look more professional, then do it for the interview. Little things, like washed hair, clean shaven, clean fingernails, might be perceived as unimportant, but they are noticed (subconsciously) by most people - your interviewers might not know quite why they liked you the best and you got the job, but it could be down to these "insignificant" factors.

A:
I would go with a long sleeve button up shirt, a tie, nice slacks, and dress shoes. A suit is probably unnecessary unless it is a very very high end catering service. Good luck.
