I like your willingness to start early. The first thing you may want to do is think about what you have to offer. Companies don't just want teenagers to come to them for experience. They want teenagers who show and demonstrate their passion in a tangible way. Having said that - start thinking about what you have, real examples to demonstrate your love of fashion and put it together in a resume. Also blogs are easy to set up. Why don't you set one up where you can start to share your style? For example look at this blog: http://realprettyinblack.blogspot.com/ I know the teenager who runs this blog and puts their own voice on the record about what they think and how they feel about style. This teen is under 18 and has been contacted by New York companies for summer internships. You should get started building your "portfolio of work" that demonstrates your talent, get a resume together and market yourself and what you have to offer.

There are lots of potential problems for children in work, many of them legislative, moms and dads are required to be vigilant about that. There is lots of assistance from the resource in the box below on this subject, they also have assistance for all people who are hunting for work, or who are required to change careers.

volunteer someplace, but research it beforhand to see if it's a place you'd like to work when you leave school. It helps because people already know you from the workplace and you have a reference if you decide to work elsewhere

I'd suggest a course in the area you want to work in....and you can see if thats what you really want to do... Central st Martins London college of Fashion Retail fashion academy All in London ... they run various short/ christmas/ easter or evening courses... or get some work experience... Good luck but it's not easy I have a degree in Fashion and believe me it's a tough industry... Oh and get a part time retail job somewhere good for fashion...Topshop or Selfridges etc or some retail experience!
