Any tips on getting into the welding business?
Asked by Chad
I'm only in grade 10 but I want some tips on how to get into welding; like what courses I should take and what courses I should try my hardest in like, example, maybe math and science? Is chemistry a helpful course to take for welding?

Actually, there is a shortage of welders right now, and it's expected to continue. It's a good trade to get into,

You should talk with your high school guidance counselor. Or, check the local community colleges in your area, call them, and find out if they offer welding programs. If they do (and tons do!), ask to speak with an admissions person about the program.
Good luck!
