How do I go about doing medical transcriptionist work from home?

I am a stay at home mom and I would like to work from home.The best thing I have heard to do is become a medical transcriptionist but I have no clue where to go beyond that..Help do I need to go to school can I go onile can I get financial aid help lots of questions!!!

Hi there, There are actual legit medical transcriptionist jobs that you can do at home. I know this because a friend of mine does it. The best thing to do would be consult the BBB (Better Business Bureau). If they are a lucrative company they are usually listed there. Hope this helps!

Please be aware of the fact that medical transcription work from "home" is not allowed due to recent privacy issues regarding medical recordkeeping. Anyone who attempts to promote such an "at home" enterprise is promoting a scam. Again, the bulk of medical transcription work is done strictly at a medical facilities, hospitals and the like, using their computer equipment and software. Good luck!
