How do I get a job working from home that's not a scam?

I'm a soon to be mom in Canada looking to make some extra cash working from home, however most jobs want you to put money down, clearly a scam. the job doesnt have to be on the computer.An old friend of mine his mother made bags and made money for every bag. im not looking to start my own business or anything just anything where i can make a bit of extra cash.. you always hear about work from home jobs but never seem to be able to find them.

We can't answer this, we have no idea what yo our skills and education are. If you want a real job apply at real companies that have real openings for your profession. Explain in your cover letter that you want to work at your home office.
