How do I get a job as a newspaper delivery person?
Asked by Matt
I see them driving around in their own cars very early in the morning. It sounds like a good part-time job but I can't find out anything about it online. Does anybody know any good sites to search I live in Miami. HELP!

Dont do it. My hubby did it for 2 yrs here in Cali. It may be diff in Miami, but I will tell you, its hard and the money is inconsistent. You get paid by subscriptions. People either mail them in or you do door to door collections ( my part of the job). I would give a note to all the people that on a certain day, I would be coming by to collect. Many either didnt have the money or told me to come back another day. If they dont pay, you dont get paid. Papers come out of your mailed subscriptions so you basically have to pay for them. That includes supplies like plastic wrap (for when it rains) and rubber bands. You work everyday with no time off unless you can con someone reliable to take the route for you on any given day. If someone isnt paying, they will not cancel them for 3-6 months since they dont care you arent getting paid since they are getting money through advertisements. In the mean time, you are still paying for their paper. Its a crappy job.
