How much do elderly caregivers make?

I am not a nurse, nor do I hold any special certification. The job is M-F 9-5 taking care of an elderly man. It will include light housekeeping, meal prep, bathing, personal care, and ensuring he's occupied and safe. It's in the Little Rock, Arkansas area. What is the average pay, or what should I expect as far as wages for a job like this?

Without nursing or certification, you can expect minimum wage, maybe slightly more, depending on the need in your area.
