Matty Cob
Is there a legal minimum age requirement to become a supervisor at a place of work?
Asked by Matty Cob
I was wondering if employees must be a certain age to be a supervisor at work. I don't know if it matters, but this is within the state of California. Thanks!

Best Answer:
that is a policy issue not a legal one. if you are old enough to legally work then you are old enough to legally supervise.

It's probably more a question of being mature and responsible enough to supervise others. A 16 year old would probably have difficulty in a supervisory position over 20 and 30 year olds.
