ok, so we have a new hiring/schedule manager in office and she refuses to give me 3 days off for christmas. ive been working at my current job for 3 years now, and the manager before her never hesistated to give me a few days off for christmas. i almost never call in, or ask for any days off. all around im a pretty good employee, but if your only parttime they treat you like ****. I cant take their bullcrap any longer. My papa's in the military and plans to come home from south korea for 14 days to visit my mom in ATL. I stay 5 hours away from there and planned on driving to see him for christmas. I told them that, and they still show no sympathy. Fkkin jerks. They sit around hiring a million people and still can't give me 3 darn days off?! should i just quit? im 19, i dont work for a living, I have a place to stay, rent free. I only work to have a little extra cash. I havent seen my dad since last year. and i havent spent a christmas with him in over two years due to him being stationed there. We talked and he said if things didnt work out he would buy me a plan ticket for christmas day. wtf? I hate my job. Im not even going to allow him to do that for me. He already pays for my car, college, car insurance, and phone bill. That would just be an extra added bill
