Any one having trouble finding a job as an entry level electrical engineer?
Asked by amygar77
I got laid off this past february with only 10 months of experience working for a contractor in a refinery. Since then I have applied to dozens of jobs and haven't even been call for an interview. Any body else having that problem? Any advice from somebody that recruits or is a working electrical engineer? I need the help I beginning to get frustrated with this situation.

I think you need to start building up your network and also go directly to companies. If you are applying via just newspaper and internet, you are going up against many other job seekers. Use hidden job market.
