How much Experience should you need for a PT Computer Technician Internship?
Asked by stlcard88
My Instructor came up to me in class today and asked if I would like to be a PT/Intern Computer Technician for a local bank. I am going to school for CIS yet I feel like I don't know a whole lot about the field in general to be able to hold a job at a quality level. I don't have any actual working experience on computers other then just doing things at college and messing with them at home. As an intern are they going to show me how to do everything? or am I going to be expected to know how to do most of these things. The job pays $10.00 per hour and I figure thats not to bad for an intern and maybe if I do ok it will lead to a parttime or fulltime job. Any help would be great!

careers.scienceontheweb.net - I found such internship info here. It has lots of internships, job openings and scolarships for college students.

I say you take it. It would be valuable experience. Buy a CompTIA A+ book and it'll teach you everything you need to know about repairing computers.
