How Much Should I Be Making As A Web Designer?
Asked by kday4205
Alright, I'm just looking for some expert advice on how much I should be expecting to make. I'm a Wordpress Web Designer with some talent, an excellent blogger and writer with a BA in Mass Communication, and an SEO who can get ranked at the top of Google in just a few weeks. What do you think? Thanks!!

Hi, It really depends on what projects you are given. some projects pay very little and some, especially SEO pays quite well. to have a better idea how much people charge (and therefore know what you can charge) visit freelance sites and internet marketing forums. check there what people charge for services similar to those you would like to offer.

Go to these links and it will show you some averages. It would be better to type in your experience and location though, as those factors can change the results alot. http://www.payscale.com/research/US/Job=Web_Designer/Salary http://swz.salary.com/salarywizard/layouthtmls/swzl_compresult_national_IT10000109.html http://www.simplyhired.com/a/salary/search/q-web+designer

Check on www.salary.com for the annual salary of a web designer in a particular city as well as check with craigslist.org/___________ [city] for similar job salaries. Good luck!
