is being an electronic technician a good field to get into?

I plan on going to Porter and Chester Institute for Electronic Systems Technician, and I just want to know if this is a decent career field to get into? Has anyone ever gone to Porter and Chester? How was it?

I can't speak to the question of the school, but with regard to the field in general ... yes, it should be a decent enough career field. Working with electronics requires hands-on presence, so this type of job mostly cannot be sent overseas. No matter how willing, a guy in Brazil can't troubleshoot an electronic device in your home or office -- presupposing that home & office are not in Brazil ;-) Good Luck!
