I have been thinking for a long time on becoming a nurse and to use nurse assistant as a stepping stone to accomplishing that goal but college is not for me-------It just takes too long to complete to make the money. I have a lot of respect for nurses, they have a tricky job, but still many people are attracted to this job. I discovered some excellent tips on the site in the box below, it helped my sister to set out on the path to becoming a nurse, she is in her inaugural semester of training now.

I think its a great plan, its also a plan i'm looking at myself. I think though you will change your mind about college. Most people use cna as a stepping stone to other careers not just nursing. And if you work and go to school that time in college will just fly by. Don't give up on college, i'm starting at rock bottom so it will take me 5-6 years for the career I want. Remember college is an investment in your future!
