What are the chances of a male dental hygienist?

Getting hired with an associates degree in dental hygiene? I hear associate degrees are all that are necessary and bachelors aren't needed with the profession. I also hear it's difficult for male hygienists to find jobs because it's a "woman's" profession?

If you don't try, you will never know. Sounds like you have an idea of reverse sexism. I would try anway if you have a passion for it.

Well, it may be slightly tougher for you to break into the field, but assuming your GPA is high and you can prove your qualifications, you should be able to get hired. Good luck!
