Am I an unemployed steel worker?

Here's the situation. I worked at a manufacturing warehouse for the Gap. Soon afterwards I was laid off. That takes care of the unemployed part. Some of the buddons were made of metal so does that qualify me for the unemployed steel workers benefits from the local and state government? Cash for Clunkers, if that helps.
