If I major in Medical Technology, can i become and ultrasound technician?

I know that most people that major in medical technology have to work in labs. But is it possible to become an ultrasound technician with this major?

Not with only that degree, no. But there are tons of Sonography programs for people who already have a medical degree of at least one yr in length, or already have a bachelor's degree.
