As along as your are a CNA meaning you took the red cross nurse aide test. I know places in PA that start out at $9.50 an hour. I make $11.40 an hour. I have been a CNA for 3 years. With working midnight or after noon shift its $11.90. I have seen billboards in my area saying up wards of $17.00 an hour but don't know any one who has got that. I believe that has to do with agency work.
Really for everything you do and have to do its not worth what they pay.
I'm 22 & everyone tells me I won't have a back past the age of 25 if I keep working there.

I have a lot of respect for nurses, they have a hard job, but still many people are attracted to this vocation. I stumbled upon some good tips and tricks on the website in the box below, it aided my sister to embark on the road to becoming a nurse, she is in her inaugural term of training now.
