What is a job where you can design and create medicine?
Asked by avalanche91hockey
I am trying to get ideas for jobs I would want in the future. I want to be able to design and possibly create or invent medicines for people in a laboratory. I like dealing with science and math and am looking for a job that makes at least 100K annually. Anybody know the type or name of jobs that would fit this criteria?

That's a "chemical engineer". You need a ton of education (6-8 years) in the sciences, pharmacology, etc.

A:
That would be things like research scientist, pharmaceutical scientist, etc. That would involve a PhD in chemistry, chemical physiology, pharmacy etc. You would work in R & D (research & development) in a pharma company or in pure research at a large university.
