Kell Bell
Is it possible to find a Legal Secretary job?
Asked by Kell Bell
I recently obtained my Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies and I already know how incredibly difficult it is to find a Paralegal job, especially with today's economy and the little years of school I have. What about a legal secretary job? I need to find work, I just got fired.

Unfortunately, a paralegal certificate does not qualify you as a legal secretary simply because there are a lot of typing from copy, transcription from tape, familiarity with Microsoft Office software, etc. which is an acquired skill after many years of formal secretarial training. Check your local craigslist.org under "Jobs" for any number of paralegal positions in your city. Good luck!
