How does one get certified in driving a pallet truck?

I did Lowe's training and all they did was show a video and then you can read more and take a quiz...and you'd be certified. But I was thinking there would be more to it, such as actually practicing driving it because watching and reading is different from actually doing it.

First off I am assuming you are referring to a Fork lift not a pallet jack. If so, then different companies and industries have there different rules. Some you must go trough a rigorous course and others you watch videos then you gain experience by doing with some direct supervision. I was trained in the military. The best thing to do is be available and make friends with the fork lift driver and ask. good luck
