Cambridge Associates was founded in the early 1970s to provide investment and financial research, consulting, and advisory services to endowments and other nonprofit institutions. Today, those services have been expanded to include alternative assets research and consulting and performance monitoring. Our client base consists of more than 600 institutions with assets ranging from several million to many billions of dollars and includes colleges and universities, secondary schools, foundations, religious organizations, research organizations, international institutions, corporations, and private clients. Our college and university clients represent nearly three-quarters of U.S. higher education endowment assets. These clients are based in the United States and around the world and are served by offices in Boston, Menlo Park, Washington D.C., Singapore, and by an affiliate in London that is authorized by the Financial Services Authority.
