Our DC Area based company was originally founded in 1985, but was sold to a Global Administrative Staffing Agency in 1996 and subsequently underwent several name changes. As principals, we were asked to stay on to help direct the rollout of a new National Technical Staffing entity. However, like most things in life, nothing ever works out exactly as you had imagined. After five long years we left, and after fulfilling a mandatory one-year non-compete period, ATR was born again in 2002 with the specific purpose of putting technology people in a position to be successful. We serve as Staffing Agents, primarily focused on the Information Technology sector. We identify, qualify, and hire skilled information technology individuals for specific opportunities with our clients. The majority of these opportunities provide an option for clients to hire them after a minimum contract period. As such, the individuals within our company who make the engine run are organized in two main areas: Account Executives to develop and nurture relationships with area companies that need technical talent, and Recruiters to attract and retain the technical talent needed by companies.
