National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), located in Arlington, VA (one block from the Ballston metro) and advocate for consumer-owned cooperatives on energy and policy issues, is the trade association for over 900 consumer-owned electric cooperatives with 60,000 employees serving more than 40 million people. Collectively, electric cooperatives represent the nation's single largest electric utility.
