Medical and Dental Insurance
Full and Part Time Employees are eligible for medical and dental insurance. Coverage in Patelco’s group insurance programs will be effective on the 1st day of the month after completing 90 days of employment.

401(k)
Employees may contribute, on a tax deferred basis, from 1% up to 100% of their annual salary (not to exceed the current set contribution limit). Patelco will match $0.60 for every dollar, for the first 5%, of the employee's 401K contribution.

Retirement Plan (Pension)
Patelco values long-term employees. After five years of service, employees are fully vested in the retirement program. And depending on several factors, including length of service, employees under our Pension plan could receive up to 55% of their final average earnings.

Flexible Spending Account
Employees may contribute, before taxes, to a flexible spending account. This account may be used for child care and/or medical expenses throughout the year.

Paid Vacation
Employees, both full and part-time, accrue vacation based upon service time after their first 90 days of employment.

Holidays
Employees, both full and part-time, are eligible to receive holiday pay.

Sick Leave
Employees accrue sick leave each month and may sell back unused sick leave at the end of each calendar year.

Mortgage Loan Discount
Employees of Patelco are eligible to receive a Mortgage Loan discount on their first mortgage loans for their primary residence when approved for a qualified Patelco mortgage loan product.

Quality & Achievement Award
Employees are given a yearly bonus which is based upon profitability of the credit union and achieving monthly non-management and management goals. Generally equated to four weeks salary.

Tuition Assistance
Employees are eligible to participate in the tuition assistance program where Patelco will pay for work related classes and degree programs.

FREE Membership to Patelco and special discount offers for Employees
Employees are encouraged to become members of Patelco. The membership fee is waived and Patelco will deposit the first five dollars into the new account. Also, employees receive certain products at no fee.

Disability Insurance
Patelco offers short and long term disability insurance at no cost to the employee

Life Insurance
Patelco offers all employees life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance in the amount of twice their annual salary at no cost to the employee.
