Physician Sales & Service operates medical supply distribution service centers with approximately 700 sales representatives serving physician offices in all 50 states. The Company's subsidiary, Gulf South Medical Supply, Inc. ("GSMS") is a leading national distributor of medical supplies and related products to the long-term care industry in the United States, based on revenues and number of sales representatives. GSMS operates distribution service centers with approximately 120 sales representatives serving long-term care providers in all 50 states. The Long-Term Care Business' primary market is comprised of a large number of independent operators, small to mid-sized local and regional chains, and several national chains.
