Medical and Vision Insurance
AVIEL Systems, Inc. offers voluntary group medical and vision insurance to all new full-time employees and their eligible dependants. AVIEL offers three options: HMO (Health Maintenance Organization), POS (Point of Service), and PPO (Preferred Provider Organization). Vision coverage is included in the medical coverage. AVIEL and participating members share in the cost of health insurance.
Dental Insurance
AVIEL Systems, Inc. offers a comprehensive PPO dental plan to all full-time employees and their eligible dependants.
Life Insurance
All full-time AVIEL Systems, Inc. employees receive 100% company paid life insurance coverage with the redemption value equivalent to one times their annual salary up to $200,000. Life insurance includes accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Short-term Disability (STD)
AVIEL Systems, Inc. provides short-term disability insurance coverage for all full-time employees. AVIEL pays 100% of the premium for this plan. Short-term disability begins on day 1 for an accident, or day 8 for an illness, and will provide income protection for up to 13 weeks. The benefit provides a weekly income equal to 60% of your current weekly salary to a maximum of $1,500 per week.
Long-term Disability (LTD)
AVIEL Systems, Inc. offers voluntary long-term disability insurance for all full-time employees. AVIEL pays 50% of the premium and the employee pays 50% for this plan.
401(k) Retirement
AVIEL provides a tax-deferred retirement savings plan available to all full and part-time employees. Eligibility begins on the first of the month following the first day of employment. All contributions are through payroll deductions. Employees are permitted to defer up to 100% of their eligible compensation to their 401k plan, subject to the IRS annual limit. AVIEL provides a matching contribution of 50 cents for every dollar contributed, up to a maximum of 5% of earnings contributed by employee. Employees are 100% vested in all elected contributions. The vesting schedule for the matching contribution is 33.3% per year, with total vesting in employer matching contributions following 3 years of employment.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
AVIEL Systems, Inc. provides 15 days of PTO per year to all regular, full-time employees for the first three years of employment.
Holidays
AVIEL Systems, Inc. observes ten paid holidays each year. Regular, full-time employees are eligible for holiday pay following their first day of employment.
Tuition Assistance
Continued education and employee development are highly valued at AVIEL. Therefore, AVIEL provides continued education tuition assistance to eligible full-time employees enrolled in accredited institutions of higher learning, with reimbursement up to a maximum of $3,000 per year, subject to eligibility.
