![]() Savio House was founded as a residential program for adolescent boys in 1966 by four philanthropic businessmen with a sincere concern for children. Savio's accredited comprehensive on-grounds school program, incorporates back to basics learning with employment and independent living skills training to prepare students for a successful transition to the community, public school and the work force. Our Day Treatment and Community Based Services Programs provide services to youth and their families in the home. Our Community Based Services (CBS) Program provides reunification services for youth who are returning to their families from residential or correctional care and serves youth moving into an independent living situation who require emancipation assistance and support. In collaboration with the Denver area and El Paso Departments of Human Services, Savio's CBS Program has developed a specialized service for families who are experiencing child abuse and neglect and drug and alcohol addiction. Savio prides itself on four decades of solid organizational and staff experience. The agency remains constant in its philosophy, goals and values and in its staff leadership and commitment to excellence.
