Who We Are Who Is Priority? We are a full service provider of nursing and sitter services. We are locally owned and operated, and have provided services in the home and hospital since 1978. Licensed by the state of Tennessee, we are Medicare-Certified and are members of TAHC and NAHC. Basic Information: We provide General & Professional Liability, Worker's Compensation, Bonding, and Unemployment Insurance. We make all Tax Deposits, as required by law. We log weekly itemized invoices. We assistance with insurance billing. Psychosocial Evaluations Before we offer our services, PRIORITY will evaluate the patient's and/or family's ability to respond to care. Then we identify if additional services are needed for the patient/ family to maintain a healthy life. If so, we step in and offer our services to help our patient and family feel cared for and freed from any additional daily demands made on their time and energy. What We Do PRIORITY HEALTHCARE provides multiple levels of care according to the needs of the individual patient. During initial evaluation, a plan of care is established and agreed upon so that both the patient and the caregiver are comfortable and satisfied with the duties that will be performed. Review of each case is done prior to arranging for caregivers. This allows PRIORITY to make the best possible selection of caregivers to meet the needs of the patient. While patients are receiving service in the home, a supervisory visit is made at least once a month by a nurse to review the plan of care and to see that the needs of each patient are being met. At any time a new level of care can be established and set up. It is our goal at PRIORITY to give the very best care to each patient. SKILLED SERVICES: Priority Healthcare offers the following offers the following skilled services; Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech and Language Therapists NON-MEDICAL SERVICES: We offer a number of non-medical services, including the following; homemakers, companion sitters, and personal assistants. SITTERS: Sitters Plus is a part of Priority Healthcare Services. We provide full range of services including: Shampoo, bath assistance, meals and clean-up, medication reminders, laundry, shopping, appointments and more. HOMECARE GIFT CERTIFICATES: Homecare gift certificates are wonderful gifts for all types of services, including elder care, convalescence, respite care, and personal services, such as help with bathing, getting dressed, or housekeeping. You may arrange for any amount of care to give as a gift. We will bill you directly, and, if you wish, we will send a card from you to the recipient(s). NEWBORNS: We can even arrange for help at home with a new baby's arrival. New parents are often exhausted and overwhelmed after the birth or adoption of a child. Our personnel can lend a hand! CASE MANAGEMENT • HMO'S • INSURANCE: Cost effective alternatives to hospitalization are available through PRIORITY. We provide case management services and maintain control over health care costs. We can become the "eyes and ears" of case managers who don't live in the area, by assessing patients on an ongoing basis both inside and outside the hospital. WORKER'S COMPENSATION: We can help the injured worker rehabilitate more quickly and return to work. The employee becomes productive once again and costs are further controlled.
