We are headquartered in Kenosha , WI just 30 minutes south of the Milwaukee area and 60 minutes north of Chicago. We are a successful manufacturer and marketer of men's & women's intimates and loungewear selling products in 9,000 U. S. department and specialty stores and license and distribute products in more than 140 countries. We also have a strong direct-to-consumer business, that includes approximately 100 outlet stores across the U.S., an ecommerce business (Jockey.com), a home party business (Jockey Person to Person), and a recently launched a catalog business.
Jockey International, Inc. was founded in 1876 by Samuel T. Cooper who wanted to help lumberjacks suffering from blisters caused by wearing shoddy wool socks. Consumers learned they could trust him, and his tiny hosiery business grew and then expanded into underwear. As we have grown in size and sophistication, that simple commitment to serve our customers has continued to be our hallmark...and the secret of our success.
